Lahore (Staff Report): A flagship event 'Superior Entrepreneurial Expo 2019' organised by Superior Group was held at the Expo Center in Lahore on Saturday.
Punjab Minister for Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayun Sarfraz and Superior Group's Chairman Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman inaugurated the expo.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar attended the event as chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, the provincial minister lauded the Superior Group for providing a platform to the entrepreneurs and efforts for creation of jobs for the youngsters.
On this occasion, Superior Group Chairman Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman said that the event is being organised with an aim to show the world the innovative and creative side of Pakistan and develop entrepreneurial potential of the country.
The keynote speakers included Dr. Sumaira Rehman - Rector Superior University, Director Punjab Industrial Estates Development & Management Company, Director Chaudhry Muhammad Akram Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Co - founder Innovation District 92, Mr. Sohail Malik - Chief Digital and Finance Office, The First MicroFinanceBank Limited – Pakistan, Mr. Almas Haider - President LCCI, Mr. Rizwan Akhtar - Co founder MiRyde.
Around 80 groups of students comprising more than 325 participants presented their innovative ideas whereas more than 70 investors, including 10 international, also participated in the event.
