Islamabad (Staff Report): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan today has announced during a party meeting at his Bani Gala residence that intra-party election of PTI will be held within a month.
The party meeting was briefed by PTI’s chief election commissioner Azam Swati and he assured that that intra-party election will be held within a month and said that the election will be penal-based in which 2.7 million voters will use their right to vote.
PTI’s senior members stated that intra-party election cannot be delayed further. They said that election should be held as soon as possible to meet the terms of Election Commission.
PTI chief Imran Khan said on the occasion that the election process should be completely transparent.
