Islamabad (Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the appointment of Nausheen Javaid Amjad as the new chairperson of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Amjad, a BS-22 officer of the Inland Revenue Service (IRS), will replace Syed Shabbar Zaidi.
The development comes after the federal cabinet has approved to appoint Miss Nausheen Javaid Amjad as the new chairperson of the FBR. The cabinet also approved to prematurely terminate the two-year contract of Shabbar Zaidi as chairman FBR with immediate effect.
