Los Angeles: The first official heart-stopping trailer of ‘The Mummy reboot’ has released.
The full trailer of the film was released under the banner ship of Universal on Sunday, three years after the studio announced it was working on a franchise based around classic Hollywood monsters. The Mummy reboot, directed by Alex Kurtzman, includes Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis in lead roles, follows a team of archaeologists who accidentally disturb an evil spirit, played by Sofia Boutella.
The ancient Egyptian princess, Queen Ahmanet, then seeks revenge on Cruise, his team and the modern-day world.
The Mummy will be showcased in theatres worldwide in June 2017.
