Islamabad (Web Desk): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday accepted US blogger Cynthia Ritchie and Senator Rehman Malik’s request to withdraw petitions seeking the registration of cases against each other.
The US blogger’s told the media that the petition had been withdrawn after reconciliation between Ritchie and Malik.
Last year, Ritchie had come out with startling allegations of rape by the former interior minister and assault by other PPP leaders in 2011.
“In 2011, I was raped by former interior minister Rehman Malik, I will say it again, I was raped by then interior minister Rehman Malik. I was physically manhandled by the federal health minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin and former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, while he (Gilani) was staying at the president house,” said Ritchie in a video released on Facebook.
