Islamabad (Staff Report): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that no foreign power could save Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif from accountability.
“I have heard they are seeking support from the UAE to save themselves from accountability,” Khan said while addressing a workers convention in Islamabad on Sunday. “But neither Indian PM Narendra Modi nor US President Donald Trump can save the premier from accountability,” he added.
“You will not go to Jeddah, but to Adiala jail,” the PTI chief said.
He asked the PML-N workers to stop supporting their leaders for the sake of the future generations and the country.
The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed by the Supreme Court to probe Sharif family’s offshore assets submitted its final report to the apex court on July 10, stating that the PM and his family were in possession of assets beyond their known sources of income.
