Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan has congratulated Yoshihide Suga on his elections as the new Prime Minister of Japan.
“Congratulations to Excellency Yoshihide Suga on his election as the new Prime Minister of Japan. I look forward to working with him for further strengthening Pakistan-Japan friendship and our increasing cooperation,” the premier said in a tweet.

After winning nearly two-thirds of the votes in Parliament and later being sworn in by Emperor Naruhito, Mr. Suga said at his first news conference as prime minister that stability was his top priority.
