Unprovoked Indian firing at LoC leaves woman dead, 2 children injured

Rawalpindi (Staff Report): Indian Forces opened unprovoked firing at Line of Control (LoC) in Kot Kehtera sector killing an elderly woman.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), a 60-year-old woman in village Thandi Kassi died when the Indian forced opened fire.

Pakistani troops, however, responded befittingly to the unprovoked fire and silenced the enemy guns, the statement added.

Meanwhile, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said two children aged 9 and 14 were injured in the firing, which was carried out at Nakyal and Balakot sectors at 9:50 pm on Saturday.
