NAB case: IHC forms new bench on PTI founder’s plea against jail trial 

Islamabad (Web Desk): The Islamabad High Court (IHC)on Saturday constituted new bench in connection with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former premier Imran Khan’s petition against his jail trial in the National Accountability (NAB) case.

According to details, the two-member new bench comprising IHC Chief Justice (CJ) Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri will hear the case on Monday (January 22).

The bench was changed after justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb had proceeded on leave.

In his remarks on Thursday, Justice Miangul Hassan said that the case will be fixed in available bench in coming days.

Meanwhile, a two members bench presided over by Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb had issued notices to respondents on Thursday.

Earlier, two members bench comprising Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir had heard the case.
