Islamabad (Web Desk): The Accountability court of Islamabad has extended bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi till October 14, in 190 million pound case and the Tosha Khana case, on Tuesday.

Accountability Court judge Muhammad Bashir presided the hearing of the case while National Acccountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor was also present. Bushra Bibi appeared in the accountability court along with her lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa.

Bushra Bibi's lawyer Latif Khosa submitted in the court that NAB stated that the arrest of Bushra Bibi is not wanted at present.

During the hearing, Bushra Bibi's lawyer Latif Khosa said that if NAB's intention has changed, it should be informed by the court because security bail is a fundamental right. He took the position that it should not happen that NAB arrests Bushra Bibi as soon as she leaves the court, excusing that the time for the situation is over and therefore it is necessary to arrest her.

Judge Muhammad Bashir said that they can take the statement from NAB that they do not want to arrest Bushra Bibi, on which the NAB prosecutor objected to the lawyer's statement and took a position that there is no law that an accused person should be informed before arrest.

NAB prosecutor said that Bushra Bibi is requested to cooperate with NAB and has asked her to present the jewelery of Tosha Khana to NAB.

Later, the accountability court of Islamabad extended the bail of Bushra Bibi till October 14 after the arguments of both lawyers were completed.
