Islamabad (Web Desk): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services Dr Faisal Sultan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan made steady clinical recovery from Covid-19.

“PM Imran Khan has made steady clinical recovery from Covid and his lab parameters have remained stable. He has been advised that he may resume work and build up his work routine over the next few days,” Dr Faisal said in a tweet and added, “This is in line with national and int’l guidelines.”

Last week, PM Imran and First Lady Bushra Bibi tested positive for Covid-19.

The premier got infected just two days after he received his first vaccination against the disease. The 68-year-old former top cricketer received a shot of the Chinese-produced Sinopharm vaccine, as the country battles a third wave of the virus.
