Islamabad (Staff Report): Pakistan International Airport flight delayed at Toronto Airport after collision of the plane with a refueling automobile on Saturday.
PIA spokesman reported that an airport fuel vehicle collided with the engine of a PIA plane during refuelling at the Toronto Pearson International Airport.
He said, flight PK-789 sustained minor damage and has been transferred to the hangar for the necessary maintenance.
According to scheduled the flight was to take off from Toronto to Lahore, after the incident has been delayed by 16 hours. Passengers have been transferred to hotels.
PIA has informed the local service-providing company of the incident and sought an explanation, the spokesman said.
