Karachi (Staff Report): A retired ex- army officer identified was shot dead on Wednesday in Karachi’s Baloch Colony area.
Near the Baloch Colony bridge retired colonel Tahir Zia was on his way in a car when two assailants on a motorbike rode up to his vehicle and shot at him.
According to police details, two others were also injured in the attack. The injured have been identified as Rehan, 25, and Momin Khan, 35.
IG Sindh AD Khawaja has sought reports regarding attack from DIG West. He has also ordered SSP Operations and SSP Investigations to collect necessary forensic evidence and ensure the culprits are arrested immediately.
