Lahore (Web Desk): A latest research has revealed that the poor quality of kids’ sleeping can affect their eating habits and weight.
The lead author of study said, “Childhood obesity very often leads to adult obesity, this puts them at greater risk of developing obesity-related cancers in adulthood.”
The study found that shorter sleep duration, measure in hours was associated with a higher score. Moreover, a measure of the frequency and extend of transitions between sleep and activity, were also associated with greater waist circumferences.
Research suggested that it is important to examine sleep quality for designing childhood obesity prevention strategies.
