Karachi (Staff Report): Jameel Ahmed has been appointed as the Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), a notification issued on Tuesday by the Ministry of Finance said.
The notification further stated that the new Deputy Governor has appointed for three years.
Ahmed is a veteran banker with over 20 years of experience in banking services. He served as Director of Banking Supervision of State Bank Of Pakistan and has been its Executive Director of Financial Resources Management. He served as an Executive Director of State Bank Of Pakistan since July 2, 2006.
