Islamabad (Staff Report): The Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee will meet on Thursday (today) evening in Karachi for sighting the Eidul Fitr moon.
According to Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee will meet under the chairmanship of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman while the district committees will meet in their respective areas.
According to an official press release, the witnesses’ account of moon-sighting can be shared with the zonal committees.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has already predicted that there are ‘slight’ chances of Shawwal moon sighting on June 14.
