Lahore (Staff Report): The Punjab Governor House was opened for public on Sunday.
People were allowed to visit the historic building by using Kashmir Road gate, after showing the national identity card of the head of their family.

The building was opened following an announcement by Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar regarding opening the building every Sunday.
“Today we welcomed the public to a soft launch of the Governor house in Lahore. We had an overwhelming response since 9am. It's the first time in history where a Governor of Punjab has opened the doors of the Governor House for the public!” Sarwar said in a tweet.
