Lahore (Web Desk): Former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik announced his marriage with renowned Pakistani actress and model Sana Javed on social media, amid rumors of his divorce from Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.
Malik shared the update on Saturday through a social media post on X (formerly known as Twitter). The post comprises pictures from their wedding ceremony with the caption: "And we created you in pairs."

The announcement comes as a surprise to the public and fans amid rumors of Malik’s divorce with Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and rumors of Sana's separation with her ex spouse Umair Jaswal.
Two days ago, Sania Mirza shared a cryptic post on her Instagram where she discussed marriage and divorce in a motivational text.
“Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard. Choose your hard. Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely,” Mirza’s post read.
Former couple, Shoaib and Sania, remained in the headlines for quite a time since 2022 following the reports of their separation.
Shoaib and Sana were rumored to have been divorced with both keeping mum on the matter due to agreements. None of them publicly verified their relationship status amid the speculations.

Sana Javed, who has starred in several hit drama serials, was previously married to singer Umair Jaswal, whom she married in 2020.
Also neither of them spoke about their divorce publicly, rumors about Jaswal and Sana calling it quits on their marriage were rife on social media from last few months after Sana and Umair removed their photos with each other on their Instagram.
Following the announcement, Javed shared Malik’s post about their marriage on her Instagram account. She also changed her name on her Instagram to Sana Shoaib Malik.
