CJP’s convoy faces accident while heading towards Mansehra

Mansehra (Staff Report): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar on Wednesday left for Balakot to review the rehabilitation work but the convoy faced accident as six vehicles were heading towards Mansehra.

According to details, six vehicles of the convoy were collided with each other, however, fortunately there were no reports of any serious harm. CJP Saqib Nisar was traveling in Justice Umar Ata Bandial’s car.

In the convoy there were cars of CJP’s protocol, rangers and media representatives while the accident occurred as the driver of one of the cars applied breaks unexpectedly near Pakhwal Chowk and left all the six cars to collide with each other.

It is pertinent to remember that CJP Saqib Nisar Wednesday morning heard a suo motu case of alleged embezzlement of about $5 billion financial assistance extended by the international community for rehabilitation of 2005 earthquake survivors and left for Balakot to review the rehabilitation work.
