Cairo (Web Desk): Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi on Thursday received Lieutenant-General Zubair Mahmud Hayat, Pakistan's Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) in Cairo, the sources reported.
According to details provided by the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during their meeting, in the presence of the Minister of Defense and Military Production and the Pakistani Ambassador in Cairo, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi praised the strong cordial historical relations between the two states and both expressed their ambitions to further boost the mutual strategic cooperation and consultation for accomplishment of regional and mutual interest.
The CJCSC expressed his happiness over his recent visit to Egypt, emphasizing the deep people-to-people relations and hailed the achievements made over the recent period.
He further stressed that Pakistani security interests is linked to the Egyptian and regional stability and appreciated Egyptian governmental economic reform program and the national projects aimed at achieving comprehensive development.
