Atif Aslam reacts over retention of Indian producers’ ban on Pakistani actors

New Delhi (Web Desk): One of the renowned Pakistan singers, Atif Aslam refused to promote Bollywood latest song Sehmi Hai Dhadkan from the forthcoming Bollywood film Daas Dev, after the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA)’s decision to retain ban on Pakistani actors.

The details revealed that, the singer has been repeatedly refusing the requests to promote his latest song, Daas Dev says its producer Sanjeev Kumar.

Kumar said in a statement, “Atif said he will do it, but it hasn’t been done. I’m not sure why he isn’t taking part in the activity, but, as a producer, I see that work promised hasn’t been executed”.

It is pertinent to remember that IMPPA has refused to lift the ban anytime soon. Two years ago, this ban was imposed on Pakistani artists working in the Bollywood industry citing the strained diplomatic relations between neighbouring states.
