Islamabad (Staff Report): Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter, Maryam Nawaz and her husband MNA Capt (retd) Safdar reached the Accountability Court today (Friday), to attend the hearing regarding a corruption reference against her and other Sharif family members however, the court has adjourned until October 19.
The judge of the Accountability Court, Muhammad Bashir resumed the hearing but unrest was created after clash among lawyers and judge Muhammad Bashir left the room announcing adjournment of hearing until October 19.
Maryam Nawaz asked Interior Minister to conduct investigations of the matter.
Outside the judicial complex clash erupted between police and lawyers, lawyers blamed police for hindering their entrance into the court.
One of the lawyers was injured however, he was shifter to the hospital.
